I have experience teaching all age ranges from five years to seventy-four. I encourage all of my students to have an active role in selecting their own learning materials whilst also offering Rockschool, ABRSM and Trinity College exams. I have a 100% pass rate for students I have put forward for graded music exams.
I have performed as a professional singer in multiple musical ensembles for several years including rock, pop, blues, jazz, singer/songwriter, and acoustic bands giving experience in all genres and styles of music.
I have performed in various shows around the UK including a musical duo, trio, four-piece band and Celine Dion & Diva Tribute. I have performed in various venues including, weddings, functions, corporate events, social clubs, restaurants and festivals. Click on the track below to listen to one such performance.
I also have compositional experience having wrote and released several albums/EPs, in addition to performing my original music around the UK. In addition to this, I have worked in various secondary schools and continue to do so as a supply music teacher.
This has enabled me to maintain a current awareness of all exam specification requirements, in addition to the most recent OFSTED developments. Within these roles I have performed the duties of head of department, including school choir leader.
